My obsession with watches is well-known by my friends. I told him a bit about the watch and said I'd be happy to fix it up, so a couple weeks later he dropped it off at my place and I got to work on it. Case back off, stems out, and replaced the small seconds hand, then ordered a new battery. Thank you, Amazon Prime.

Vintage Seiko World Timer Watch
Today I finished my work by installing the new battery, setting the time, adjusting the time zone indicator hand, and setting the GMT function. Cleaned up the case and it's all set to go back to my very happy friend! My favorite part was signing my initials and dating the inside of the case back for the work done.
